District Governor Visit
Our new District Governor, Blaine Johnson visited our Club September 17th. He described himself as being "Not Typical". He is one of the youngest District Governors that we have had. He said that Rotary is about making connections and giving back to your community. He provided a lot of great feedback and ideas for our club to consider.
Dictionary Project
The dictionaries are in! Each year we put the labels in them depicting the 4 Way Test. We will pass them out at our meeting today so everyone can lend a hand. There are still a few classes that need Rotarions. Ashley Wahl will have the list if you would like to sign up.
If you have not presented before, feel free to ask questions or team up with a fellow Rotarion. This is a very fun project and the kids really love having us.
World Polio Day
October 24th is Polio Day. If you have an idea on how or where to get the word out locally, we want to hear it! There was discussion last week on maybe reaching out to KEYZ or the Herald.
Please remember to pay your annual membership dues, if you haven't already!
Ashley sent out the dues invoices again last week via email to those we are still waiting for. The Club has already paid dues to the District on anyone who was a Rotarion on or before 6/30/18. Any unpaid dues will be a loss to the Club. I know we have lost many members this year, so I wanted to make sure that everyone understands.
We didn't have a Board Meeting in September and have yet to set a date and time for October. We will keep you informed as we get closer.
We are posting Board minutes and agenda's on the website. Only one agenda will be available at a time, but we will keep up to three months of Board minutes on the website. Our goal is to keep the entire Club up to date.
If there is something you would like to see on the website, in the bulletin, or on Facebook please let us know!
