Rotary Picnic
Due to the rain we had to reschedule our annual picnic. We were down in attendance, but it was still nice to visit with fellow members and their families! All three pavilions now have matching roofs and look great. Additional photo albums below.
Dictionary Project
It is that time of year again! We have been gathering the student counts and class contact info so we can order the dictionaries. Please plan on attending our next weekly meeting, September 10th, to sign-up. If you have not presented before, feel free to ask questions or team up with a fellow Rotarion. This is a very fun project and the kids really love having us.
District Governor Visit
Our new District Governor, Blaine Johnson, will be visiting our Club this month. He will meet with the Board Sunday, September 16 at Ken Callahan's for dinner. Every Rotarion is welcome to attend this meeting. If you are able to attend please let Ken know so we can make sure we have enough food for everyone. Then Monday, September 17th he will be our speaker at our regular noon meeting.
Board Updates
We are now posting Board minutes and agenda's on the website. Only one agenda will be available at a time, but we will keep up to three months of Board minutes on the website. Our goal is to keep the entire Club up to date.

8/6/18-Janna Lutz, CHI Foundation Director, gave an update on the birth place remodel and the 5th Annual Charity Ball.
8/13/18-Jim Sorum, Eckert Youth Foundation, gave background info on the Foundation and is looking for volunteers.
8/20/18-Joan Mainwaring, American State Bank & Trust, provided info on the North Dakota Housing Financing Agency and there mission to make housing affordable for all North Dakotans.
9/4/18-Annual Williston Rotary Club Picnic. Ken Callahan, Foundation Chair, & Mark Schneider, President, grilled steaks and chicken. The rest of the members provided salads and deserts.
