Colleague Appreciation Day, formerly known as Rose Day, will take place April 24th. We will be selling roses and cookies again this year. There will be paper forms available, as well as the ability to order online. We will send updates as they become available. If you are able to help with this event, please contact Deb Halvorson.
2019 Scholarships
The Board approved six $500 scholarships this year and opened the applications up to all of Williams County. Additional information is available on the website, along with the application. The deadline is Monday, April 1, 2019. Chelsea Ridge an John Miller have volunteered to be on the scholarship committee.
Williston Rotary Scholarship Fund
Gifts to the Williston Rotary Scholarship Fund are invested and professionally managed to provide an ongoing stream of financial support that will help future graduates in the Williston area to access higher education opportunities.
Here are some easy ways to start building your Rotary legacy today:
- Provide for a bequest in your will or other estate plan
- Make the Fund the beneficiary of a retirement plan
- Turn unneeded life insurance into a lasting legacy
- Take advantage of the North Dakota Tax Credit with a gift today. The tax credit is equal to 40% of the charitable deduction up to a maximum tax credit of $10,000 per year per tax payer or $20,000 per year per couple filing jointly. The credit may be carried forward for three years. A $5,000 donation receives a $2,000 tax credit.
