100 Year Anniversary
District Governor Rick Bricker presented President Pat Hatlestad with a certificate for Williston Rotary Club's 100th Anniversary. The District Governor also met with the Board before our regular meeting to discuss his goals for the year, as well as the plans for the District Conference.
Paul Harris Fellows
Ken Callahan & Mitzi Bestall receiving their Paul Harris Fellow recognition. This recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation.
Football Boards
Our newest fundraiser is selling Football Boards! There are 100 books per board. Each book contains each Monday night game for the season. Each book will be sold for $20, with a chance to win $50 each week for 16 weeks (17 games). We hope to start passing out Football Books at our weekly meeting on August 5th, so please plan to attend.
We will be posting additional information and instructions on the website later this week.
Annual Picnic
Our annual Rotary picninc is scheduled for August 26th. We will be serving burgers, chips, and drinks. Please plan on attending and bringing your family!
Bricks & Pavers
The Williston Rotary and Lion's Clubs are once again taking order forms for bricks & pavers to be set in the pathway to the new pavillion. We still have plenty of space to fill! The deadline for this order will be September 6, 2019.
Prices are $100/brick or $300/paver. Please make checks out to Williston Rotary/Lions Pavillion Project. If you have any additional questions, please contact Ken Callahan at 701-572-1620.
District 5580 is now calling for nominations for the office of District Governor for the Rotary year 2022-2023, and qualified Rotarians may submit a nomination for consideration by the District Nominating Committee.
The nominations must be received no later than October 4, 2019. Please take time to review the Qualification Guidelines, as you will want to make certain your nominee meets the criteria prior to submitting his/her nomination. Following receipt of all nominations, the District Nominating Committee will schedule interviews with each nominee at a specified time. Interviews will be held at Timberlake Lodge in Staples , MN on Saturday, October 26, 2019. More info is available on the District website.

August 22, at 7:30 am at Gramma Sharons.
In July, some of the items we discussed included: logo wear, fundraising, membership, and causes.
