Our 2019 Williston Rotary Club Christmas Party was postponed this year, but we will be discussing a time and date for rescheduling at our next weekly meeting Monday December 16th. Due to how late it is already, we will look at having it sometime in January.
The Salvation Army-Bell Ringing
It is bell ringing season again! We have signed up to ring the bell from 10 AM to 8 PM on Thursday December 19th. To sign up you can go to registertoring.com and enter our group code-Williston Rotary. I will also have a sign-up sheet to pass around at our next meeting.

Chairpersons Needed
We are in need of a Chair(s) for Administrative Professionals Day and Banquet West. Administrative Professionals Day is April 22, 2020 this year. The dates for Banquet West have not been set. Please reach out to a Board member for additional information.
4 Way Test Scholarship Application Deadline
The 2019 Scholarship deadline is December 13th. We have opened up the eligibility area to all of Williams County. If you know anyone that is interested in applying please email rotarywilliston@gmail.com and we can get you an application. We plan to give out five $500 scholarships at the county level. We will then submit the top one to the regional level where they could be awarded $150 and submitted on to the district level. The District winner is awarded $1,100.
President-Elect Training (PETS)
Have you considered running for President of the Williston Rotary Club? This year our PETS Training will be held Thursday, April 23rd, the day prior to the start of the District Conference. The registration fee will be waived for President Elects that attend the training. District Conference breakout sessions on Friday will be helpful to incoming club presidents, including sessions on leadership and using the presidential citation for planning a successful year. Please visit with one of the Board members if you have any interest in the position, training, or conference. At this time we do not have a President for the second half of our year. We do not have a President-elect for the coming year either. However, we do have many past Presidents willing to offer guidance as needed.
One Rotary Summit-Duluth
Our District will be presenting a One Rotary Summit, emphasizing how we as Rotarians and Rotaractors are Connected by Our Rotary Stories, on February 1, 2020. This Summit emphasizes the relationship among membership, the public, and humanitarian service. More info is available on our District website rotary5580.org.
