Williston, N.D.- The Williston Rotary Club is asking the public for their help with recognizing individuals or companies who have gone Above and Beyond during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Nominate an Essential Worker Challenge!!
“We encourage the public to nominate a grocery clerk, food industry workers, delivery persons, nurse, police officer, fire rescue person, anyone who you noticed stayed safe and helped others while doing their essential job during this Covid-19 Pandemic in Williston,” said Bruce Conway Williston Rotarian.
“Rotary is about Service Above Self, and without gathering or doing an activity, we wanted to give back to the community to those who are Serving Above Self,” Conway said.
The Williston Rotary Club, with funding received from Rotary District 5580, will purchase $2,000 in $50 gift certificates from local merchants to award the front-line essential workers. This was the easy part, now is the hard part and the Williston Rotary Club is asking for your help.
You can access the nomination form below.
Nomination forms can be submitted to rotarywilliston@gmail.com.
The nomination form only needs a couple items, the name of the individual or company whom you are nominating, their address, your name, and a brief reason why. The deadline for the nomination submission is Monday June 1st.
